# Guessed Location and Delete a Place

Hi,

The place is guessed from you IP Address. This is so we don’t have to ask for location permissions - i.e., to respect your privacy. It must’ve struggled to guess your location from the IP address or something went wrong like the network connection was down, it which case it’ll default to New Zealand.

There is a Editors \> Places where I plan to have editing and deleting in one place. I haven’t finished the feature yet.
