Please consider adding ICON 2I (ItaliaMeteo ARPAE ICON-2i) weather model.

For users in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Hungary and the wider Adriatic/Mediterranean region, ICON-2I would be particularly interesting because its ~2 km domain covers this area very well. For Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland and parts of Croatia in particular, it would provide a very useful second high-resolution ICON-family model alongside ICON-D2.

**Forecast** of temperature, wind speed and direction, precipitation, snow and cloud cover in Italy, \*\*up to 72 hours. \*\*The maps, available on the **MeteoHub**  **platform** , are automatically generated using the **high-resolution numerical weather prediction model ICON-2I**.

The ICON-2I modeling system is **managed by the ItaliaMeteo Agency** in collaboration with **Arpae Emilia-Romagna** , running on CINECA‘s computing systems.

**ICON-2I data** is produced **twice daily (00 and 12 UTC)**, providing forecasts up to 72 hours on a grid covering Italy and a substantial part of Central/Southern Europe with a **resolution of 2.2 km**.
