Judging from how other app devs struggle to implement tidal data, Iām guessing this might be a reach, never mind featuritus.
However should ever the idea strike your fancy , a zillion fishermen, clam diggers,
sailors, submariners, surfers, beach combers, cyclists, birdwatchers, besotted neāer-do-wells, nudists & dogs(same) would beat a path to your door.
Thatās my forecast.

I would love to do tides since I use them too but it is hard to collate all the data. I have an alternative plan that uses the sun and moon but itāll require a bit of research.

Tides are useless to most of the worldās population.
A bespoke Tides app is a better idea. Loading up a super app like Flowx with something most will never use is a bad idea. Slows development on useful weather features and inevitably introduces bugs.
This app is FREE and accurate.

Itās now US$2 (for me at least). I use [Willy Weather](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.com.willyweather) for it, but itād sure be cool to have it in Flowx as an additional chart.

Iām not sure where you get the idea that tides are useless to _most_ people.

Anybody who goes to the seaside would find tidal information useful. Plus everybody who plays in our on the sea (swimmers, sailors, fossickers, fishers etc etc)

I have a tool chest with about 100 screwdrivers of all different tips, about a dozen hammers for different jobs, maybe fifty different types of pliers plus many meters for electric, pressure, sound and distortion. Each is _perfect_ for one specific application. Ditto Flowx
Flowx is my tool chest for weather.
I also carry a small swiss army knife. I can fix a lot of stuff with it, but often have to go home for a toolbox of specific tools to help the neighbors.
Adding Tides for a tiny percentage risks turning Flowx into a swiss army knife that does a few things OK and nothing really well.
I managed software development for over 40 years and every feature adds to the bug count which reduces time on the core application.
When a sales guy came and said he needed X, I asked what of A through W would he like us put aside. If he really had to have it and could not set aside anything from A to W, he needed to go upstairs and make the case for enlarging our team.
There is no free lunch.
