Alpha Release 4.0XX - Major Update and Testing

This release marks the beginning of the end for a major rewrite of Flowx.

This major rewrite was released to Apple a year ago and since then I have been working on getting this code to Android. After four years, we are nearly there.

Interested in being an Alpha Tester?

Please email me via the current Flowx app on Android.

I can add your email to the list and the app will update through the Google Play store.
You can always opt out by letting me know.

What needs testing

Currently testing is very easy. I am looking at:

  1. migration from old Flowx places, graphs, layouts, etc… to this alpha version. See if anything is missed.
  2. and just general daily usage. Daily use will highlight issues and find crashes. If crashes happen, the crash log should be uploaded automatically.

  • Improved migration. Note: scalebar migration still needs some work

  • Added “Migrate Again” in settings.

Note: “Migrate Again” will try to migrate data from the old Flowx again. This may cause you to loose edits since it last migrated. However, this should fix the bug when you cannot add/remove Gauges and Graphs.

It was a big job but I’ve added the Pro Store. If you have a purchase, this should be recognised. Promo code products will be ignored at this stage.

Otherwise, you can force Enable Gold Pro on or off via Settings.
