Hi there - I love the app and want to support it with a paid plan. That said, in the next few months I want to move from Android to iOS and don’t want to pay for a year twice. If I pay for a year now on Android, will I be able to use that subscription on iOS soon?
There is no way to share subscriptions. It’s quite a task to implement this. But I’m happy to refund your Android subscription when you move.
Thanks, Duane! I’m just glad there is an iOS app now too ![]()
@NeverSeriousSam Hello and Welcome to the Forum and Thank You for Using Flowx
Hi @duane - I have my new iPhone now. I purchased the subscription after this and then it was available (the iPhone) faster than I was expecting.
Yeah, unfortunately subscriptions are often tied to the app store account rather than the app itself. I had to contact support once when switching platforms, and they were able to sort it out pretty quickly.
Yes, unfortunately using the platform (Android, iOS) subscription service is the easiest way to add pro without violating any policies that would lead to Flowx being kicked off the platform. I just didn’t have the manpower or time or want to read everything and jump through hoops.
Now we have two platforms running well, and I see other apps having their own subscription service, and we have AI, I might be able to look into this further.
But again, one developer and the same amount of time…
