DST day wrong

AU switched to AEDT Sunday 2am, and I just noticed at 5am Monday 6 Oct the latest app launches at the correct time but the Day scale shows Sun. I added the date into the bar, it shows the correct date, and the time is correct.

Exited the app, cleared recents, restarted, etc. Keeps relaunching thinking it’s Sunday.

Just discovered if I edit the location and choose 0 for Past days it shows Mon. Editing back to 1 makes it Sun again

I just went through my locations list to set Past to 0 so I don’t get too confused, however Glasgow UK & a city in DE displayed the day as Sun with the appropriate times. The DE city was set to 3 says past and it looked correct.

Yes, this bug was reported last week when NZ went through day light savings. I have a todo item to try and fix this when Australia goes through daylight savings.

Daylight savings is my nemesis - it keeps tripping me up every few years.

The best temporary fix is to turn of past days.

That screenshot was from my Tab S9.

Oddly v4.126 on my Samsung S23+ launches with the correct day despite not being changed from Prev 1.

Just powered up the Tab S9 and it too is showing Wed when the Prev Days is set to 1 for several locations.

Was the DST thing a back-end issue, you’ve sorted it there and doesn’t require a version update?

It only shows if you are showing past days and DST happens on one of those past days. If you only show one past day and DST happened two days ago, the bug will not show.

Ah ha! Explains everything! Thanks for clarifying, it certainly had me very confused Monday 2am!
