Fixing Flowx Loading Issues with VPN – What Worked for Me

Hi everyone,
I’ve been using Flowx for a while and love the interface. But when I travel or use certain networks, the app sometimes fails to load maps or data. After some testing, I found that using a lightweight VPN like Stag VPN helped bypass those network restrictions.

It’s free and worked great for me—Flowx loaded instantly after connecting.

Has anyone else tried using VPNs to solve connectivity problems with Flowx?
Would love to hear if others had similar experiences or better alternatives.

Thanks in advance!

@auroralane7754 Hello and Welcome to the Forum and Thank you for Using Flowx. I’ve Personally not Tried I am lucky enough to only have very few issues :folded_hands:t3::folded_hands:t3:

I’ve used Proton VPN in the past and it has worked.

Flowx doesn’t check if a connection is a VPN or not, it just asked the OS if there is a connection and uses it. Only if you have “Download on Mobile” turned off does Flowx check if the connection is on mobile or not.
