No "MINUS" on Samsung numeric keyboard

If you can’t input a “-” sign on the Samsung numeric keyboard that pops up when editing graph ranges, press the tiny keyboard symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, select google voice type and say “minus” out loud.

Non of the other hints and tips online for this issue helped so I thought I’d post my solution here for when someone else starts swearing at their tablet over an otherwise pleasant Sunday morning breakfast.

Maybe FlowX could allow a choice of full or numeric keyboard for input?

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, OneUI 5.1.1, Android 13

Checked on four phones, a Google Pixel, Motorola, Xiaomi, and Oppo - they all have a minus key.

The solution is not a hack. The solution is that Samsung should follow standards.

As an alternative, in Samsung Settings, try switching to another keyboard. Both Microsoft SwiftKey and Gboard have minus signs available.

Thanks Alex, I have install Gboard and can confirm it works. I guess it’s safe to trust Google with my typed information despite the warning message!

I’m very happy with SwiftKey. Working fine with Flowx.
