Short answer: very
Long answer: very hard.
These are usually done by hand by experience meteorologist. I saw a masters thesis that was released in the last few years, saying it was hard.

If you choose the the pressure value with the colors you can identify the highs and lows also with the wind vectors if you can convert those winds vectors into streamlines it could be also easier to identify, that could be an option to get streamlines as an option?
