Hello.
I’ve just gone through an ordeal, trying to get a payment method to be accepted by google in order to purchase a silver subscription (Europe resident). That is beside the point, but it illustrates a level of frustration I have already experienced.
I was under the impression, given that in the list of available data radars, that within my region, there is only extra data within the Silver subscription. Thus, not wishing to overpay for no discernable benefit beyond the Silver subscritpion, I decided to just go with it, rather than Gold. To my dismay, upon finally (after about an hour of trying through, I assume, no fault on the app’s part) purchasing the subscription, I have noticed that now that I have access to that one silver radar, there now is a Gold option in the list of radars. I thought, no big deal. I don’t really mind paying an extra 5 dollars on top of that (+VAT), so I’d like to upgrade after all. I mean, if I’m going to pay for this, for 5 dollars a year, might as well be 10, since this is an extremely reasonable price.
But I can’t upgrade to Gold from Silver. It just tells me the price is 10 dollars. Not 5 extra on top of the 5 I paid. Just flat 10 all over again.
Under normal circumstance, I’d just bite the bullet and do it. It’s only 5 extra dollars on top of the 5 extra dollars on top of the 5 I already paid. A year. No big deal.
But a man has to draw a line in the sand.
Am I going to be charged back the silver subscription, or am I going to only pay the difference, or am I going to get essentially double charged?
I’d like to know the answer to the question if at all available, please.
I feel mildly upset right now.
